Dorcas of Bay Head Restaurant is now open for the season! Located in the center of town on Bridge Avenue, we feature fine outside dining as well as a dining room upstairs.

We have a Full Soda Fountain featuring our Sundaes & Homemade Cakes.

Dorcas of Bay Head was founded in 1965 by Dorcas Cotsworth and made into the sidewalk/café restaurant that it is today. From 1925 to 1965 it was a rooming house called The Clover Cottage.

For the last thirty-nine years Dorcas of Bay Head has been considered a charming place to dine.

Breakfast is Served All Day - Omelettes, Pancakes, Eggs Benedict, Waffles.

We have delicious Salad Platters - Chicken, Shrimp, Tuna, Chef, Tossed, Caesar.

Classic Sandwiches - Clubs, Grilled Chicken, Reubens.

From the Grill - Reubens, Hamburgers, Curly Dogs.

Our delicious Specials include Cheese Quiche, Butterfly Shrimp, Honey-Dipped Chicken and Chicken Fingers.

We are just doing Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 11AM to 3PM until summer begins for us on June 18th. Then we will open every day until Labor Day.

This summer our hours will be from 11AM to 3 PM during the week and 10AM  to 3PM weekends. As of July 1st we will open our soda fountain for ice cream from 6-10 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

Our newest addition is soft-serve fat-free yogurt along with our delicious variety of twelve ice cream flavors. The regular menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches is enhanced by specialties of wraps, seafood bisque, delicious shrimp salad and eggs benedict.
